3.6 964 motor SOLD deposit taken. I Still want a 2.4 lump

The 964 motor is out of my 72 targa to put a period correct engine in it.

The 964 motor is on a pallet and can be delivered anywhere in the greater west country.

Although a hand off will be required as it's quite heavy.

Its a runner, oil tight but sold as seen, it will come with the ECU and the loom / DME relay (to follow) but no exhaust.

It is fitted with a 964 engine to 915 gearbox flywheel and clutch conversion (£1000) with no further mods necessary to bolt on.

Offers around £4000 I would consider a px on a 72 2.4E motor in any condition.

Have you driven the car with this engine in and does it come with ecu and wiring etc to put straight in my 1972 911?

Hop much work is it to fit

At the moment Im running a 3ltr sc lump with a 915 box.

Yes it is.

Hi,
For anyone who is interested in this engine I have a pair of B&B(Billy Boat)stainless steel 964 heat exchangers which breath much better than the 964 cast iron ones and are much lighter.
B&B use a custom distance between the outlets so you need to use a B&B silencer or make a custom set up.These heat exchangers are a v good option if putting a 964 engine in an early car or an impact bumper.
