To Stripe or not to Stripe

Post by revo »

To Stripe or not to Stripe, that is the question,Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer the Slings and Arrows of costing a fortune....... Bla Bla Bla
Monsier Aubergine is now back from painters and back on the road just.
Had great plans re stripes and decals although nothing really finalised. Chris is going to come up with a couple of ideas for me to consider as well.
However now car is back I quite like it plain just not really sure what to do.
Car needs to be dropped down about 25-30mm which will improve the look.

The car looks great as it is - I'd be inclined to leave it 'plain' for now & see how you feel after using it for a while.

Stripes/graphics look better on a non-std car (IMO).

I think stripes would spoil it personally.

Why don't you just run it how it is for a while and see how you feel later?

You can always add vinyl stripes later and then take them off if you really preferred the clean look.

Prefer plain but the side stripes (not the bonnet stripes) look good too.

Leave it as it is, looks FAB, just spend the time and $$$ getting it dirty.

If Oranges and Greens are the Safety colours , Aubergine is definitely a luxury colour. Anything more than the porsche script along the cill would be too much imho, and to be honest I don't even think it needs that!

I would lower, fit wheel caps and S sill trims, then leave it at that.
