Hello again Folks....
My last update was in August 2018 or pre COVID if you prefer. The World seems a completely changed place to me now. However, I think it's time to post the final few chapters and bring this reference to a proper conclusion.

84. Centre of Gravity.

So, my last update had the car being completed by Gary & Julio at GDC and going off to Chris and Peter at Centre of Gravity. I'd booked CofG for the full works and that's exactly what I got. I spent the day there and found Chris hugely knowledgeable and happy to be very interactive with his customers.

And for those of you who are interested following are links to five, three minute videos of Chris giving the car its post set-up test drive and a description of how the car performs.

85. Plastic film

Had some clear plastic film applied by a local firm, Automotive Innovations, to where I might get gravel rash.

PLEASE NOTE PLATES CHANGED TO SILVER AND BLACK

86. First service and storage

In early 2019 I'd done about 500 miles so Nick Fulljames said he'd have it back for the first service. Nick had originally set it up 'manually', to get it driveable, so I could run it in. And whilst it was driveable it had an annoying flat spot at about 2000rpm. Nick did the service and carried out a far more comprehensive set up and also fitted one of these...

Late in 2019 we had a significant house extension built which necessitated our garages being used for a life-size game of Tetris, using house furniture and appliances. In the end Nick stored the car for me for over three years and I actually got it back in August this year. It is now an absolute pleasure drive .

Hi Darren, it looks lovely doesn't it with Rich's skill and hard work shown off to full effect. I'm so pleased I went with the original colour.
