Paul Aslett's (Defender47) 'new' car

Post by Bootsy »

Many of you have met Paul before and know his car which he has raced over the years (HSCC for example)

Anyway - Paul sent me these today and asked me to post them on his behalf.

It's changed a bit!

Hi,
The 356 ,sadly, went way back in '08 and now resides in sunny California looked after by a famous racing driver.
I am still racing but now run a 1977 Jaguar XJ-S V12. As you might imagine it is slightly different to drive! Much more forgiving than the 911. Longer wheelbase helps.
If you checkout on Google my name and XJS you'll see some shots of the car at various places. It's in the old TWR colours white, green stripe. No 47
First race this year is Zandvoort on 3/4 May.

Thanks

Paul
