Got it running yesterday but I’m going to replace fuel pump etc before I take it to Wiscombe next weekend. Can’t complain about the ‘stand in’ though!

Practice day at Prescott today for a very critical event where I could loose the chance of the Championship Class win for 2022.

Could/will be rain, and I'm the only one without cut slicks.
My closest/only rival in the big TVR is just 12 points behind me and if it is wet could net a good 8 points off me, down to 4 points lead to me for loton in 3 weeks.

Really feeling the pressure as i want my name on the trophy gain (and for the 5th time)

Spent day at Wiscombe in Adrian Crawford's 911 in the Rally Car class, where flat-shift, 300bhp Escorts rule the roost. Had two PBs for Wiscombe (50.74 and 50.75!) but couldn't quite get under the 50-second barrier due to never quite achieving the perfect run... Stunning day at Prescott today.
Key race day to keep me on target to take the Midland Championship Class win for 2022 and rain forcasted.

I won't bore you all with the details, but....

1st in class on both race runs, each netting a PB AND 5 points.
Lady luck was on my side, but the Lola was simply out of this world.

No rain and i was determined not to be beaten!

PB now 44.15 and I'm sure there is a good low 43 in there next year.

Loton Park in late September and it is all over.

I'll post a full '2022 season' review' when the dust has settled.
