I finally got around to repairing the push rod tube seals and fitting the retaining spring. will be doing the other side next weekend.

Hopefully i can then go for a trouble free drive again.

It's had its butt in the air since july 22!!!

After months and months working on my garage I’m back in my happy place working on the car.

Decided to refresh the front suspension.

Current battling the cotter pin and deciding whether to make a special tool

I went to the Midlands Airport cooled swap meet this morning, only having heard about it last night. I was glad I turned up early. The queues were long already and the room heaving. By the time I left it was one in, one out.

I picked up a few bits for the 911T. No idea if that air box is right. Or the bumper, or the windscreen.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Do I need 2 bulbs or 4 for the rear of my 914?

Each side needs one turn signal, one brake/tail, one reversing, one side marker (if US spec)...

I’ll admit Porsche shenanigans have been low on the list of late. No real reason just lots of life stuff getting in the way! And apologies for lack of air cooled stuff but at least….

…. got the little Boxster back on the road this week. Two new radiators (one was rotted so replaced both whilst the bumper was off) and a few other bits including a new battery: . Only to discover the stereo’s amp had fried itself so a replacement period looking Bluetooth Blaupunkt is on route and going to use it a little more.

Took it out for a country run this evening and it’s about to clock over to 80k

Yes it was seized but being left overnight with heat and wd40 and the next day a BFH freed it.

Had a few similar challenges but one side is all off now.

Planning on just tidying it all up - was lots of surface rust

A friend has sold his Macan and bought a Bentley GTC, the V8 one so it’s only 500bhp, felt fast enough to me. Not a great looker but impressive nonetheless and seems to have the same door hinges as my 981S.

However this meant he decided he couldn’t keep his Porsche design, in car Espresso machine and that I should have it. Obviously a must have, although as far as I can see the only Porsche design bit is the label on the generic Chinese container for the coffee pods.
