Paul Stevens had a very nice one built I don't know if he ever sold it but it did look very good.

It was mental money, that probably didn't help. He needed to get Magnus Walker to come over, drive it and do a vid....Kerchiiiiing!Berny wrote:Paul Stevens had a very nice one built I don't know if he ever sold it but it did look very good.

Re: Retro-look Backdated 911 "Speedster"
I've got a 71 car that was converted to speedster style , done back in the late 70's. I like it but posted a pic once and got slammed , each to their own , or maybe it wasn't done by a big enough name...
Will be interesting to see how these guys blend the style.

Re: Retro-look Backdated 911 "Speedster"
The PS one was a Spyder, based on a 3.2, it did eventually sell to a forrun. It would have gone far sooner in LHD.
They have since built a 964 based Speedster that's on their site. That was for a customer.

That white one is mine. I've just got round to getting the dash top and door cappings finished, Aldridge Trimming phoned on Wednesday to say they're ready for collection. Only taken me four years.....
Re: Retro-look Backdated 911 "Speedster"
Jazz Porsche also made one. There's a picture of it on there Facebook page.

Thanks Barry - all the better for your skills with the dash fascia panels. Here's a pic of them in place mid build. Sorry I don't have any more recent ones showing the (almost) finished job.
