Hi, just purchased a 1968 912

Post by ghia70 »

Been looking at this forum for a few years, finally took the plunge and purchased a LHD 1968 SWB 912, few bits to sort but a good rolling resto. I also have a 1969 Karmann ghia convertible, pretty stock apart from lowered front pedrinni alloys and 1904cc engine. Will be looking for advice, pointers and a few spare parts. I'm in the Kent/Essex area. Any recomendations on good spares suppliers or specialist garages appreciated.

Hi Danny welcome to DDK. Besides Porsches I also like Karmann ghias and have had several in the past. Oddly enough my first Porsche was a 68 912 and at the same time I had a 69 Ghia (coupe).

Post pics when you can

I agree both look great. I have been thinking about getting a Ghia again and your pic has helped, I have a 58 low light in the US which I have owned for 10 years so may get that finally sent over.
