Gary,
A new guy ( Drew ) came onto
www.abcgt.com site and advised he had owned your car for 10 years. He posted a picture of it when he drove to Le Mans 24hr, some years ago. I managed to convert his photo so you can have a look. Maybe of course you might have it already but if not might interest you. I put on the abcgt foroum some photos I took of your car at Goodwood. He was very pleased to see how nice it looks now.
See you maybe in the better weather!!
Cheers
Roy

Hi Roy,
Thanks for this, In the history file which came with the car it mentions Drew Sunders as one of the previous owners with the various bills and work to accompany.
Weather permitting I'll see you as usual at the first Goodwood breakfast club?
Have a good one...
Garry

Hi All
I went to see WUF maybe twenty years ago, a guy called Brewer was selling it, he lived just off Muswell hill near the entrance to Alexandra palace, the car was advertised in Exchange and Mart or maybe Loot, one of the two and had been for sale for a while, I think it started off at £7500, I went along with a friend of mine who had some money but he wouldn't buy it, at the time it ran and drove well and looked ok just tatty, the price was dropped a few times and got down to £5500 or so and I tried to persuade my friend that it really was worth buying as there could be a profit in it but it went before we got back over there, it was Drew that bought it. Oddly enough in connection with right hand drive floor mats I don't recall what were fitted but I am pretty sure he had some although a number of years later when the car was purchased from Drew it had no mats but otherwise had a full interior which seemed a bit odd, cool old car though its kind of been there and done that and is still around to tell the tale.

Hi Gary, Roy and Bill
As I remember WUF just had domestic brown carpet and old tatty coco mats when I bought her.
Thought I would share some pics of WUF getting some minor surgery on the front wing.

Hi Guys
And here is WUF outside my garage part way through the surgery.
The work was carried out by my brother in law who was a wizard welder and panel beater.
We worked at weekends at his shop but I had to drive there and back over several weeks hence the gaffer tape holding things together.
Soon after this I did a night school in welding at Kingston University but I learnt a great deal from his expertise.
I still have the buck somewhere that I made to form the wing to door panel, with it's tricky return fold.

More soon.

Drew,
Nice pictures Drew, That was a more than a little light welding

You made a nice job of that. Did some similar welding on mine in the normal 356 areas but luckily the car then was only 15 years or so old and the rot hadn't got so much of the hold.
Nice to see you here on the DDK 356 pages!

Some excellent pictures Drew,
I sometimes feel with cars of this history and provenance that as owners we are only custodians in time

.
Driving home from Classics at The Castle 2010, this clip always gives me a fix especially when it's persistently raining like today. Spot the £1 on the dash in readiness for the dartford tunnel

Hi Garry
Love the video.
It reminds me of when we drove to a Porsche event with our old Black labrador, as soon as we pulled up she jumped out the window.
Great memories, and yes we are only looking after a small piece of history until the next lucky owner comes along.
Here are a few more pics.
