I wonder how this one and the black ebay one compare?

The black one requires far too much work and money spent on it for it to be a viable purchase at the price being asked...imo.
The interior is completely missing, that is to say, the correct interior. It's very crusty underneath, requiring inner, outer sills, floor panels, doors have a significant amount of filler, wings need either replacing or repairing etc. Engine wise, it's running, all but a little tired. The carbs needing a complete overhaul. The initial claim by the vendor was that it is fitted with a 2.4 unit. This seems to have disappeared from the latest ad and seems to be a 2.2 again, although the engine is the same unit in both the original and latest ad. Original colour tangerine which is evident, but also many parts were once yellow...no aluminium VIN plate on the front scuttle. Make your own conclusions on that. In my opinion the "timewaster" made a wise decision.
The Bahia car looks nice though.

Interesting comments on the black car Loz, take it you have been to view then? Certainly sounds like quite a bit different than the sellers description!

Yes Timo.
Having looked at a few cars since, this one is over priced in its current state.
The last time the car was listed it reached £9.5k. (res not met)
The seller's description is not wholly inaccurate, but there are many omissions. I guess the omissions being covered by the chosen term "resto project".

The black one had a video that showed most of the issues, so much to put right it would be a labour of love.

Sorry just to clarify I meant the other black car (the one that is listed in marketplace discussion here
http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... 30&t=46356) not the resto project the seller of the bahia car also has.
