Good morning.
I have tried to find details explaining my paint code.
I have 2626 H
I know the 2626 is Conda, although have also seen this called Condra for the 70MY. I would be interested to know what the H means.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Loz

L=Lesonal
G=Glasurit
H=Herberts
HL=Herbol (pretty rare)
The code is actually two digits; ie 26 is Conda green (I believe comes from Anaconda, the snake).
For a Targa, the last two digits are 10 which is black.
So the 4 digit code is split as body/roof. Thus a black coupe & black Targa are both 1010.
This code format was only used in 1970 & 1971 on the car badges, but continued in the records for many years after. This causes no end of confusion on CoA's that use this early code on 1972 & later cars, and owners are left wondering why the CoA code does not match the badge code.
