You're on! 20 quid to the DDK charity? I win if Mike posts details of his new Porsche acquisition before midnight 31 December. Otherwise you win and we have a year of entertainment while he goes car shopping.
Cheers, Richard.

Fixed that for you Mike - intrigued to see what you get. No doubt it will appear perfect to the rest of us and then you will take it to the next level

My guess is an anniversary 964 (I know you liked that one you borrowed for the Alps trip)
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Great car Steve, always lusted after one of those, you just have to close your eyes when you open the door! Perhaps not as usable as I'd like though, which is the main reason for getting back into a Porsche.....

If indeed it is one of the factory Martini cars it doesn't seem to bad a price, in comparison to some of the tatty 930's that people are asking big money for. The black Peter Sellers turbo that's around was of interest, but similar money for what is basically a restoration project. I do love the look but for me not a great drive unless you go for the 89 5 speed.
cheers, Mike.

The one that was down at Russell's for years? HSV 911? Thought the owner would never sell it...
