I'm developing a database of this currently, after some years research.

Roughly:

(911 2.0 1st series)

'64 = 0 x RHD all markets
'MY65 = circa 13 x RHD (3 x Aust & 10 x UK) all markets 4 maybe 5 known remain extant
'MY66 = circa 10+ x RHD all markets circa 4 maybe 5 known remain extant

I'm a bit lighter on the later years as I've not collected the info over time.

this is a pretty rough guide from memory, without grabbing my datafiles.......if anyone has any data they'd like to contribute I'd love to hear from you......

Cheers

SCK

FYI:
In the next issue (#20) is the story on Bali Blue 911, registration number MMU 911C, chassis number 300474, engine number 900421, built February 1965, with provenance to show it's the first RHD 911.
Quote: "Porsche GB managing director, Mr J T (John) Aldington, confirmed it was the very first RHD car, built in the experimental division rather than on the Stuttgart production line. Run as a test car for nearly two years, it was continually updated."

Good to see Simon's car still out and about as I have not seen it since 2008.

Mike (210bhp) on here has a good database of surviving RHD 67S with a good proportion still in existence.

Ian.

Hi all
thank you for the response to my question . i have a VERY ROUGH 1966 RHD 911 chassis number 303567 i have had this for a number of years i posted pics of it up on the early 911s registry and they directed me here .i did also post up on Porsche club GB when i got the car a few years ago.
where i received great help getting information about my car . then due to family reasons my car had to be left and was basically forgotten about now i have to make a decision on weather to keep the car and restore it or pass it on .
the info i have on the car is

Make Porsche ,
Model 911,
Interior , black,
colour Polo red ,
chassis number ,303567
engine number 903695 (engine is missing)
it left the production line in zuffenhausen on the 1-2-1966
and was deliverd to AFN london on the 7-3-1966 it was sold by Black and White garages on the 7-4-1966
the registration number is KUY 696D
the car was brought over to Ireland over 30 years ago but was never reregisterd or put on the road it just sat in a shed
at some point in its life it has had fiberglass front wings bumper and ducktail fitted (i have been told that these parts are from an ST? but i dont know enough about Porsche cars to confirm this ) the car is as i said very rough and needs a Total restoration .the reason i asked about how many early cars remain is that i was told that my car could be 1 of only 4 or 5 RHD 1966 cars known to still exist i thought this sounded a bit low but looks like it may be true .i will post a pic up soon
again thank you for your response to my question .

Andy

The figure I have is 72 total cars which means 35S and 37 normal Rhd 67MY 911's.

Mike

thanks Kvinyl .they seem to be a helpfull enough bunch here alright. i figured that if i am going to part with my car i might as well get as much information about it as i can .i am having trouble posting pictures up but i have some posted on the early 911s registry .
my car is in a very sad condition but this is how i bought it i haven't made it that way. its hard to put an honest value on a car which
(as i have been told needs a 50k resto ) what is a restored early RHD 66 911 worth . if there really are so few 66 RHD cars known to survive ?

It's in pretty good condition then :)
To fetch top money, which could be £80K?, the car needs to be restored to original condition, so it's a shame that it's lost the original engine. How complete it the rest of the car, as correct early trim parts can be hard to come by?
