Anyone got a set of early beehive taillights that could make some measurements for me?

I'm interested in the chromebezel inner and outer diameter and also the height of the lens from the bezel to the top.

Reason for asking is that I have a set of similarlooking lights. Just want to know if they differ lot in size. Might look weird if incorrect in size...

I can measure these this evening for you? What dimensions are you looking for, just the diameter?

Thanks! Yes, the chrome bezel inner and outer diameter and if possible an aproximate height of the glass from the chromebezel.

There are two types of rear lense - earlier flat and later more peaked, glass or plastic. Which do you have? The glass 'flat' red one i'm measuring is 39mm tip to inner bezel edge.

It would be the ones correct for a 55-54... Not sure which of the ones it would be? How about the bezel diameters?

Apologies for the upside down photos, had them uploaded to Photobucket before I realised.
The height of the behive from the top of the bezel to the top tip of the glass is approximately 23mm on mine. Mine don't have any obvious markings on them (i.e. SWF) so maybe they are not OEM, and they are plastic.

For my own gratification, I'll include a self shot...with no view of the rear end..!

Seems like the lens size is almost identical. Just the chromebezel that is a bit more narrow so the outer diameter is about 4-5mm smaller. Guess I will use these until I can afford the correct ones.

I'll continue my quest for perfection... :D

Anyone able measure the position for the opening in the center of the dash. Where the radio is mounted. All I would be needing is a measurement from the mid bend of the window to the upper edge of the hole.

You know, these things were built by hand and therefore any measurement could actually differ slightly from car to car. I have not verified this, but I would say that the centerline of the radio pod is the same as the centerline of the gauges.

The 54 my body was molded from didn't even have a hole in the center fromthe factory.
