Cheers Nick,

Has anyone heard anything from the French porsche club . . . I'm working off the assumption that as they extended the closing date to 30th April we won't hear anything till after this date . . . am I assuming right.

Got the same message as Nick regarding delayed outgoing ferry sailing.

i've actually purchased a new tent especially for this event. Normally when camping at the Main Event etc at Santa Pod we use a 'bungalow' style tent, prob is it weighs a tonne & takes up too much room...

so I've now got a 3.5metre x 5 metre tunnel tent :D :D

Has anyone heard anything/had any money taken off their credit card for the PCGB/ Porsche Club France Classic Le Mans package. I'm getting twitchy.

I haven't heard anything yet either.

I've got my ferry though. I'm doing Poole - Cherbourg at midnight Wednesday and returning Caen - Portsmouth midnight Sunday IIRC. I opted for the comfort of the Arnage Formule 1 - I can charge my camera batteries there too.

See you there.

Is it too late to get on to this??????????

Was going to be going to the 914 international but Jake will only be a month old by then so this is going to be a no no.

So the end of July is looking good.

So the question is, if it isn't too late how would one go about getting on board?

Cheers

check out Nick's site www.early911.co.uk it's got all the info on it.

If you want to do the whole convoy with us we can let know the ferry times etc (I don't ahve the details with me at work)

btw, do we need GB stickers?

Just to confirm the prices

Admission €35 in advance from ACO + €15 for paddock access
Camping in Maison Blanche €60 per vehicle
Grandstand €20

You are too late to get the PCGB benefits but you can book advance tickets with the ACO until July 5th, then the prices go up €5

Our convoy is
Newhaven - Dieppe on Thursday July 22nd, departing at 0730h, arriving Dieppe at 1230h (local time). Most will be returning Dieppe - Newhaven, departing at 1600h, Monday 26/7. Cost is about £91 with 2 people

DDK BBQ on Saturday night
