Silverstone 911 record?
Very few early cars there today, I guess about 15.
We stood out because we were all colourful!
The total of 911's of all years was simply stunning.
The lap around the track was a total success after a long wait to get going!
I really do not know the total but certainly miles above 911.
The little ex racer was fab;
This was at 7.55am on the saturday

Re: Silverstone 911 record?
I've seen 1208 quoted as the "official" figure. A logistical nightmare, too much waiting, but all worth it to be a part of a fantastic show!

Chriew did you attend to "keep them all in a neat colour co-ordinated line" If not why not ? I know it would have given us both enormous satisfaction.....

Sorry Andy, this was one occasion when I had to leave the OCD at the gate and just enjoy the chaos - and there was plenty of that!

Re: Silverstone 911 record?
I liked the fact that the organisers had arranged for two spitfires to perform directly over the parade. Whether intentional or not, it was quite ironic !!

Re: Silverstone 911 record?
It was good on the Sunday when the Aston's were on the track and they were flying over very British
Had a great time on track (posted some photos in 'past events') and was very happy to be part of it.
