What I really enjoy about Paul's photography is it also captures the 1970s spirit through a style that is more 1970s than today. Not over processed or made to look hyper realistic. Always a treat.

Just a 'heads up' for any Carrera enthusiasts. Ryan Snodgrass has recently completed his book about the Carrera 2.7 MFI cars and printed copies are expected to ship in October.
This will come to be regarded as the definitive reference piece for the '74/75/76, 911/83 engined cars.
It promises to be very much the equal of the 'Konradsheim' book (that covers the '73 Carrera 2.7RS).
I've seen some of the content and it includes many unseen photos and plenty of accurate technical detail.
The book comprises over 400 pages with 684 colour photos + 146 b&w pics & 50 diagrams.

That all the endorsement I need. Thanks Guy. I think I need to learn more about IB Carreras (although this thread is chock full of valuable information) and it looks like this book is where to start.

Cheers chaps.

Mike

Out of the blue I received an email a couple of weeks ago about this book...it's a definite purchase...if even only to find some decent wiring diagrams as my intermittent windscreen wiper control has never worked properly and I can't find a wiring circuit for it...!

Just back from 1,300 miles touring Scotland. There are some very nice roads in that part of the world. Quiet too. It's a shame to be back on the South East's congested highways.

Ryan Snodgrass's Carrera 2.7 book is an absolutely stunning publication made even more stunning by the inclusion of this delicious Lime Green Carrera 8)

Congratulations Paul, a fitting legacy for a truly awesome project.

This was the start point for the build.
You can see here work already done to alter the pick-up points on the floor which didn't match the '74 car.

Hi Paul,
Do you have any photos showing the actual work of altering the pick up points?
