Wow, looks to be in fine condition and very nice. 8) Quite different to your previous one and suspect it may not produce quite the same noise!! Look forward to seeing it at the northern meet in a couple of weeks. :)

Nice mate!

Those seats and being LHD shouldn't give you any problems like last time either!

Have fun :)

Cheers chaps .

It's a very different car from the last one that's for sure .

Managed my first drive out at the weekend over to Oulton Park for a low key clubman event .

I've got a long way to go yet though .
I bought the car pretty much for the condition of the body alone and the fact that it was a cheap way into SWB ownership albeit a four cylinder car .
Although it's had a supposed engine rebuild it's not running well at all . I need to investigate more but it's a combination of ignition and fuel problems . Nothing at all low down although it pulls well above 3k .
So far I've been concentrating on the brakes and suspension . New hoses , pads all round and rebuilt calipers on the rear . New shocks on the front to replace the leaky old ones . I also got a nice set of heater box's with the car which I've fitted so I now have a a bit of heat .
The interior is best described as tired and a bit grubby . Up to now I've concentrated on simply on cleaning up what's there . The original rubber mats where shot so I ordered a pair of Cocomats to brighten things up a bit . I had a an old Grundig FM stereo which has a din plug so I could fit an ipod lead and that's gone in and looks really good . I'm undecided whether to get the sagging original seats redone or go with an aftermarket pair such as the Rennsport Recaro type . Door panels are a bit ropey as well .
As soon as I can get a spare day on my mates ramp I'm going to underseal the car as well .
It needs a bright grille and lettering so if anyone's got a reasonable one let me know .

Cheers
Russ...

Love it 8)

V different indeed from your last one and with opportunity to customise (aka through lots of money at!) for yourself; once running right it will still let you have some fun on the twisty stuff :)
