Looking for advice on UK Vintage race series

Post by shed7 »

Hello DDK!

Looking for a little long range advice. I'm Brit living over the in the US, currently building a late '69 build 911T into a SVRA-spec vintage racecar. Right now it's a stripped tub so I'm still assessing options and budget.

Chances are we'll now be moving back home later next year. There's a ton of race-series options for the car out here. Wondering if anyone has any info on UK series that accept cars beyond the late-65 FIA app K cut-off. Depending on what I can find out, I'll either continue the build, adjust the spec or build it up as a road car.

Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks Robin. Mine's 11/69 so just inside the cut-off. I'll do some digging into the regs for each

Hi there, your car would be eligible for Historic Roadsports as run by the HSCC. Low-key clubbie racing, but good fun and a good intro to the historic racing scene in the UK. Car should look close to production-spec. Best wishes, Robert

Hello Neil, we have 2 customers/ friends that we have prepped cars for, which race in the HSCC. I am sure they would be happy to chat about it, as more 911s in the series the better. Let me know if this could help.
