paint codes for biege porsches....not for a porsche though

i am currently building a copy of Steve Mcqueen jeep. see pics on google, and i am trying to match the colour , i am thinking that some of the 60s porsche biege colours ( like sand ) might work. ( i have currently sample cards for colours RAL 1013,1014 and 1015 if anyone is interested ) as i cant get it perfect, be it there is only two pictures of the Jeep anyway.

if anyone can point me somewhere for colour codes that would be great.

RAL 1014 looks closest to me, but then there are so many variables that can affect the colour you see, photographic technique, film used, ageing, how the image was digitised, your monitor settings, etc.

helpful everyone thanks, i did think it was RAL 1014 but i am still thinking its a little dark.

these guys are building it, got the chrome wheels, roll bar, doing a custom side exhuast system etc so trying to get it close

Steve McQueen patented a type of seat with integral headrest for his Jeep as a safety feature... Albeit that was an open top wrangler type I think
