Well, I bought my car 20 years ago to the day and am embarrassed to say that I am still not there yet!

I have an MOT, insurance and sorted the registration & tax exempt status but still have a few jobs that I would like to get sorted before I hit the road. Rust proofing, fire extinguisher, carpets, badges, paint touch ups and a few other odds and ends, I may even get Neil Melliard to re-visit the custom paintwork. I am sure I'll be driving around in the spring - I can't believe the pace some of the other restoration projects on here move forward at.

I don't even have any decent up to date pictures, just this from the other day:

No point rushing it now..........................

The last few jobs always seem to take a disproportionate amount of time !

As you say though Ralph - no point in rushing now ...

I had removed the bumper trims from my car and I started to think that it looked a bit plain. I didn't want to use tape stripes as they wouldn't match my 1970's theme so I called on Neil Melliard to lay down some magic.
