So, is the 69 S a 2.0 or a 2.2 ? :)

Mike.

Max is hedging his bets.

If it's a 2.2 they forgot to put that sticker in the middle of the rear 'screen.

Speaking of details there are some decent reference shots of a largely unrestored '71 2.2S on Thomas's site:

It is a 69 2.0 S. Andy, that is Raf 's car. I understand the MFI is being refurbished.

Nice car.

He didn't keep the car long - if I remember correctly it came from Bert Robinson in the States.

And if it`s a `69 2.0, the coil`s just where it`s meant to be.

Am I right in thinking that the `69 2.0S with MFI is a really rare car ? I only remember one coming to market and that was a few years ago now. You don`t hear people refer to the `69 S in the same way as, say, the much better known `67S.

Does the car have CDI Fraser ?

Regards, Mike.

The '69 models have lots of unique features & the '69 2.0S is often overlooked when people are searching for an S.

If I was in the market for an 'S' I would certainly go & look at this car (I considered buying it when it was offered by its previous US owner) - the colour (Golden Green) is very rarely seen & can look sensational.
