Carrera RS Book - Rare Gruber and Konradsheim (English Edt)

Post by 964RS »

If you're a fan of the legendary Porsche 1973 Carrera RS, then this is the ultimate resource.

Even if you are just a fan of early cars it is truly an amazing book with fantastic information, awesome photographs and bound together as a great presentation piece. A true collectors piece, big and beautiful

Only 3000 copies were printed and has long become the holy bible of these amazing cars, in demand worldwide.

The book documents the early development of the Carrera RS, laying out its design and engineering in great detail. It includes color samples of the paint finishes offered with the car as well an exhaustive list of every car delivered including color, options and buyer's name. It's a fantastic reference, clearing up the difference between RSH, RSL, RST models, early series cars versus late, and also the RSR racing variant, filled with color and black and white photographs, as well as extensive diagrams and illustrations. It captures the era in which Porsche engineers made a production car lighter, faster and stronger in order to be homologated for racing.

It's not often that one of these books comes up for sale, but this one is in like-new condition. You can see from the photographs the pages still fan as the bind is unbroken.

It is an English language edition and includes the original green slip-cover box also in very good condition bar the slightest of storage/shelf marks that you have to look for to see.

I know derek sold his recently for £1250 and another went for £1400 recently too. There is one on ebay for £1600.

Funds from this are going back into my car so in the DDK spirit of things I am offering it here first:

£1200 no offers

£200 of which I will donate to the £10k for 10 years DDK charity :)
