Today rear axle: put in the rear axles, adjusted the tubes and painted the wheels. Next phase: get the sucker rolling and riding. And after that: bodybuilding.

On it's wheels and engine placed.
After some measurements the conclusion is that the front and the back of the car on the plans is differtent than the chassis compared with the foto's of the car.....

Yesterdag and today I made the rear subframe. The round section is boxed for extra strenght. I welded some square pieces of tube in them to make them strong before boxing.

Front subframe ... section before the frontaxle can be shortened just in case the front axle has to be removed in a later stage. Made a bridge over the "napoleon hood". I make the upper sections (between the bridge and the nose section) tomorrow. The front tube will be laminated in the nose of the car in a later stadium.

Yesterday I made the seat brackets and the last part of the rear subframe where the firewall will be mounted against. The seat is hanging in the frame because the floors will be 1,5 mm aluminium, just like the original car.

The little screamer engine is ready! 1200 cc, high compression 1300 SP Formula Vee heads, modified intake manifold, Formula Vee modified carburettor, High load valve springs, lightened flywheel, modified GT motorsport exhaust and some other mod's.
For the first run without any adjustments it is running nice I guess.
