I saw this car at CLM nice car. Pity he has to let it go! I'm sure Tom will be along to comment.

I just had to change my insurance policy because the car is now spending more time in London so I also moved up the valuation too!

Be a record for a 912 if it sells at the asking price?

I think there was a restore early coupe on for £40k earlier this year but I don't know if it sold.

It might be a good idea to ship to an auction in CA?

Think so, I believe vintageexcellence in the US sold a -66 coupé for $55k, that´s the highest price I´ve come across for a 912.

Just looked at the Hagerty value guide 912´s, have almost doubled in value over the last 6 years according to Hagerty´s.

If the car is as good as it looks, I believe it will find a happy buyer.

I saw it at the Castle, and it did look nice. "Believed to be the only Porsche 912SWT currently registered on Mainland UK", the one I restored recently is on the Isle of Wight, so he may be right. I have seen them advertised at $85K in the USA

I have an earlier Targa than this! #38 off the line!

Sry I just realised I misunderstand SWT = SoftWindow Targa. Actually mine still has the bits on back for securing the cover but now hard top. I have considered taking it back to soft top but I'm not sure how practical it would be for our weather. Especially since I'm going to have to drive it during the winter now.

So, what was the black one on Viz a few weeks ago? Wasn't that a 912 soft window in black for about
15k? Referred to ddk by someone on here?

Mike
