1972 2.4E

Post by MarkIII »

As some of you may know i picked up my first early 911 on Sunday at Hedingham. When i say my first, i have already fallen hook line a sinker in love with this car, and its definatley a keeper.

So i thought i would start my own thread now that i have the car, most of you will be familiar with my 2.4E as i purchased this from James a fellow DDKer. i first layed eyes on her around 5 months ago when i got in contact with James and he invited me to view the car in London, to cut a long story short i stayed in touch with James and three weeks ago the deal was done.

Since Sunday i have not been out of the car, week off work and the missus was expecting a few days away..... nevermind

Apologies in advance of my photography skills, not one of my strong points

Image

going to enjoy the car during my week off and then it will be off to alans at Canfords for a service and a few other things, will be sure to keep you up to date with how things progress.

Must also apologise in advance as i am sure i will be asking the usual questions that you long serving DDKers will have heard a 100 times before.

OK, I can't put this off any longer: here are the keys.

Now then... I just need to go off somewhere on my own for a bit if that's okay... :crybaby:

Look after her Mark, and remember: this car is happiest when going on long adventures... keep adding photos to the file! :salute:
