SWB Parts Still Required

Post by 911ts3 »

Addition to my previous list, still require all items listed :-

Aluminium Carpet / Door Seal Retainers

N/S Door handle for '65 car. I have O/S, but would consider a pair. With Key if poss.

Rear Over riders. My car has incorrect ones in vgc, but with rubbers. I would like plain chrome ones.

O/S front wing in as good a condition as possible please, a little work not objected to.

A pair of good door shells, up to '83 I think will be suitable.

Good straight swb front valance / bumper.

"Porsche" script for rear engine cover. (Early car, joined up script). Gold anodised preferred as car is Blut Orange

Sloping "911" script for same. Gold anodised preferred.

Many thanks
Steve

Hi,
I have some aluminium carpet/door seal retainers if you need them. Also have a pair of the outer aluminium covers if you can use those as well. You can have both pairs for 20 pounds plus postage.

Hi, many thanks, sorry for the late reply, I've just got back from a week's holiday.
I will have the seal / carpet retainers, will get back to you on the sill scuff plates, as mine are ok, and are in rubber as I think they should be for a '65 car.
Let me know how much they will be posted, or let me know where you are in the UK ?

Many thanks
Steve

Hi,

Just in case it helps those items pictured are not correct for a 65 car. The carpet strip was a flat strip section.
Here is a set all be it on a slightly later car.

Er, am I not right in thinking that the '65 cars had stainless steel carpet retainers not aluminium. I know the two '65 cars I have seen have the flatter s/s type. Both have the rubber step covers too.

List still live, although thanks to Robert Barrie, I now have the wings, bumper/valance, rear deck scripts and door shells. Many thanks for your help Robert.
Everything else still required,
