2 Continental Premium contact 225/60/15 tyres *SOLD*

Post by Bertroex »

Hi all,

SOLD
for sale: 2x Continental premium contact tyres, as good as brand new( used for less than 300 miles) with 7mm thread. If you don't fancy the pirelli's for your 15 inch rear fuchs, then this could be a close option. Load index 96, speed rating V.

Happy to send out by courier and share the courier cost the sake of 10K for 10 years.

They are £110 each new, so I'd say £110 for the pair? Or any other reasonable offer, really. 10% goes to the fund.

thank you for your time: I'll post some pictures later.

Cheers,

Bert

Would they go on 8 inch wheels and fit under SC arches anyone? 60 profile on a 225 would be quite tall?

Good point: I'd be gratefull for a response on that: I just double checked and they are 225/60/15 so indeed quite tall.

If not suitable: i'll put them on ebay and 10% of the proceeds will go to the fund.

Will report back in a bit.

Cheers,

Bert - I'm pretty sure that is the tyre that I have on my rear of the 914 on 8" Fuchs.

In theory the wheel and tyre should be 651mm in diameter compared to a standard wheel/tyre being 640mm. Of course the width of the rim will have an effect on how tall the tyre is.

Kind regards.

I have these tyres on an 8" rim on the back of my '73 T with RS arches.

Do you have any side pics showing the profile of the tyre in relation to the arch, cheers
