In case, like me, you had never seen intermittent wipe in operation, I can confirm it does work :)
After advice from fellow DDKers, I located the two relays behind the dash - NLA. I was tempted by the NOS ones on US Ebay, but I am too tight
Then out of the blue some secondhand ones appeared on Satan's Marketplace. I have even tracked down a wiring diagram -SL35 that shows the two relays. Seems like both are required to control intermittent.
You get two fast wipes, followed by a slow park, then 3 or 4 seconds later same again. Wow..... but I don't think its worth posting a video on Youtube

So heated rear window - tick, blower motor - tick, intermittent wipe - tick, just that rear wiper to conquer now.

I've got a 1970 911T and can't make the wipers function properly. Right now they don't return to parked position if I turn the wipers off mid-wipe. They just stop dead.

Could you post the wiring diagram? I'm hellbent on making the wipers function properly :D

Hi Marcus,

Here is the link to Rennlist that I used, I'm sure they won't mind.
http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars/WiringDiag.htm
SL35 shows 10 + 8 front fuse boxes and twin relays for intermittent, which I have found is the closest to mine.
Is the failure to park just on intermittent or generally. On mine everything functioned correctly other than intermittent, and it turned out to be the slightly smalller relay 911.615.112.00 that was at fault. Not sure what happens if the other one isn't working.

Thanks! That's great! I think I have that one in the Haynes manual, but this one's in colour :)

The wipers didn't work at all when I bought the car (which made for an interesting 3hr drive home in the rain btw) so I "fixed" them last summer. I'll have another go at it this year. From memory, I think it's only intermittent that doesn't work. The two other speeds I have. Oh, and of course the fact that the wipers don't automatically park. I don't think the two issues are related though.
