Don't get too excited, it can be custom built eventually by me or you!
Along the lines of my recent model build of my own car I've bought an RS version of the same kit which I'd like to donate to the DDK £10k for 10 years cause.
You can bid for just the model, but I thought I would also offer the chance for it to be built and painted to the exterior colour of your choice for a little more money. Exterior graphics are limited to Red, Green and Dark Blue (which can just pass for black at a push)
I will try my best to overcome the limitations of the kit in terms of wheel fit and ride height which may result in the wheels not going around!
So the deal is:
£25 starting bid for just the model (less than the going rate on eBay)
Add £30 build cost (if desired!) to include a custom mixed paint of your choice (Preferably a solid colour as it has more chance of coming out OK!)
The model:
Finished article: (engine lid just balances in place or can be stuck down and the engine displayed separately on a stand that is part of the kit)
The engine:
I'll let the auction run until midnight Sunday 27th
(I really won't be offended if you want just the model without my building attempts!

)

How about £90 ?
For an Ivory RS with black/blue decals
Could I have my No plate too ? If so I'll add another £10
Regards
Sanjay

Head on front and rear pictures of your car (yellow & white plates?) would be great to get the number plate from. I used this picture for mine:

Well it's been a while...
Due to work, family and classic Le Mans commitments this has taken rather longer than planned, but it's finally coming together
Engine build is done, as is most of the chassis, the custom Light Ivory paint mix has (finally!) turned up and tonight I got the shell into primer. I think when they moulded this model they deliberately made a crap job of the tool so the person who assembled it has to spend a week of evenings sanding and filling the shell just like a real car before paint

That looks pretty good in primer ...... if only the finish on Sanjay's car was as good

After several days it's now in top coat:
Oddly despite the time it now looks exactly like a shiny version of the bare plastic moulding!
It has a few wobbly bits that I can't fix now, but it's not bad from a normal viewing distance
Now to do the windows and finish it off
