We had one as a family car back in the late 80’s, it was an ‘85 model if I remember correctly and was the same colour as that. It was a great car and fascinated all my mates as it lifted itself off the floor on start up. People modify their cars to do that these days

Thought it might’ve of interest, it’s not rusty because it live in Portugal and was the stored for 20years in Switzerland, but it’s done 95,000 miles and needed suspension, brakes and fuel injection overhauls as well as water pump, belts and hoses.

It’s nearly there and great fun to drive and ride in.

That looks spectacular! decapman from here used to be in charge of the CX owners club, not sure if he still is.

Marcus ('decapman') was/is the secretary of the DS section of the Citroen Car Club - not sure that he's involved with CX models ...

He definitely had a CX Familiale, maybe it stopped there. Haven’t seen him for years.
