Today, just found an old Custom Car mag, a 30th celebration of the magazine, and a special feature of the cars that had appeared up to that point.
That T , my Y ford and so many others all featuring nearly naked women on the cars and covers, amazing decade the 70's.

Seeing the car the other day was the first time i'd seen it in the real since 78!

What great times to be involved.

maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Not too sure what you mean Darren, but the models in the pic (and years of other CC Magazines) were very happy people when I met them for the photo shoot in London.
They were there to do a job, seemed as simple as that. Nobody had a gun to their head to take part.
We all chatted in the studio while the car and the other vehicles were moved around very carefully and I and the journalist then left to do the words in a very small greasy cafe which was far less glamorous round the corner.
