Does anyone make gearsets with dog change designs?

This post on Pelican is interesting, looks like what you need, but I can't find anymore info on line from Wevo or Guards Transmissions:

What an interesting thread that is Gary!
If anything, dog change 1/2/3 would be perfect.
Thanks again.

Try pm'ing the guy from that thread, I'm sure he has the contacts to help you rebuild that 915 to bullet proof spec!

I was going to post on your other thread that I believe WEVO can build you a dog box but it is very expensive from memory (I am thinking several thousand pounds from four or five years ago). Try contacting WEVO about it. Price might have come down.

Answer from Wevo was far from committing!
I was told there is a full dog change box under test by another company . but 12 month off yet.
Been quoted $10K for a gearset....

Might be worth contacting Albins Gears http://www.albinsgear.com.au/index.php

I know of at least one tarmac rally car down here with a dog box. I'll try to post a video link.

Cheers

I think he uses a clutch to change?
As far as i know there are no dog gears for a 915.

WEVO have had a go but a one-off special for 3rd and 4th only.

Tuts are even more expensive around 20k.
I have a dog box, used it for years, needs rebuild but all there, also have lots of ratios, shifter etc pos for sale.
You cant really mix synchro and dog,the shifter is differant and fairly aggresive /positive for dog box,not a puding bowl and spoon job.
