Koni or Bilstein Front Suspension Inserts

Post by sdelan »

Good afternoon All -

My 1970 911T failed its MOT due to leaking from the driver-side front Boge insert. :(

I am now thinking of upgrading to Konis.

Does anyone have a pair of "as new" (or new) Koni inserts that they wish to sell?

(Naturally I'd be happy to take Bilstein inserts if the price was right!! )

Regards
Sean

I've got a pair of used koni adjustables on ebay at the moment, they might fit your car: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MESELX:IT - they have a bit of life in them, but I would recommend that you get them serviced before fitting. Could be a cheap way of getting some new shocks though.

Sean

I may have some Boge ones knocking around. Maybe to get you through the MOT and buy you some time. I'll check tonight.

I figured I should change my shocks and fitted Bilsteins. It made no appreciable difference, I wish I'd saved my money.

I've just changed my 3" front struts for 3.5" versions so I have them spare.
These have Billy inserts and are very little worn
Please call me if they are of interest.
Cheers
