Outside the hotel. Highly recommended and as secure as you could ever want

There’s a superb example of pure architecture.
The bridge is not bad either.

Early morning in Montmartre
Beautiful for sure, but cobbles and early 911 suspension are incompatible

Another green Porsche in Paris photo to add to the collection.
Making my way to Montmartre I stopped at this red light and had about 30 seconds to grab this before a car came up behind us.
Really like the Metro station sign

I pulled the alternator out again tonight.
My cheap (and fast delivery!) bearings I put in just before Le Mans cried enough (well the one near the fan did) about 2hrs from home after the Paris trip. I just carried on and ignored the escalating noises…
So they lasted a grand total of about 3000 miles rather than the 50 years of the previous set…
Plan is to swap them for some proper SKF bearings and pop it back together. Only one has arrived so far but thought I’d get started.
Let’s just hope it was the (obviously excessively wobbly and having shed it’s grease) bearing making the noise and not something more important!

Gorgeous. Really enjoyed your resto thread Gary. What an achievement. Love that colour so much. Only the chartreuse RS beats it in early 911 world imho.

Quite a few years ago I went to Bakewell with my young daughter, still in her child seat... Grabbed this new shot back in the Peaks last Sunday... She's in there somewhere!
It's been in the family a while this one and quite a few things have changed!

Your Little One has grown up fast!
The front end seems to be high then low, I thought you had raised it a touch for CLM?

The Porsche is dormant for now for a couple of reasons, it’s bloody freezing and I’ve managed to reach my 4000 mile annual limit on the insurance, not bad going since May.
Jobs for the winter, which may or may not get done…
#1 Get the washer jets working
#2 Fix the standard early 911 82mph steering wobble. Going to be a complex step by step problem solving task that one…
#3 Get a grip on the oil leaks as they are beyond a joke. My usual mantra of just ignore them only goes so far…
#4 Wash it
I’ve got a major house renovation on the go with my Son on his place so weekends are pretty much used up but as next Spring approaches my motivation might go up!
In the meantime have some more Paris

Great pic as ever!
Ref wheel wobble...
I had this at 70 mph which has been with the car for several years spoiling it on good journeys.
I checked everything I practically could but all checks cane to nothing.
Having resolved to check or change the turbo track rods I procrastinated.
This year having done nothing, the wobble has gone, totally.
I hope you can unearth something that may also explain my sudden fix!

Wobble at speed is most likely wheel balancing or wheels out of true. Did you get new tyres? Or possibly move a poorly-balanced one to the back?
