My 1967 911 Project

Hi been on here for ages, but only just got round to taking some pictures of my car, not very good ones I must add as I took them on my phone!!
Anyway got the car around April this year from Alex at Retro as a bit of a project..... It was quite rusty underneath with a pretty tatty interior, but fixing that's part of the fun!!! the rest of the body apart from door skin bottoms is sound enough.
It's a US spec LHD 1967 Coupe, but it has been fitted with a later 2.2T motor. Originally it was 6603 Gulf Blue but at some point has been painted Polo Red (which has since oxidised to a funny pink colour you can see in the pics!)
I've already done quite a bit of work and replaced the LH floor, outer sill, inner sill and B post bottom. I've also rebuilt the pedal cluster and collected most of the other odds and ends I need to finish it. Just need to get on with the RH inner and outer sills and B post (RH floor done prior to me getting the car) and then turn my attention to the mechaincal bits.

Plan is to have it on the road by spring next year! My intention is to create a period weekend racer look that's somewhere between a standard car and a 911R. Still undecided on what colour to paint it, back to original blue or stay with red, like the idea of the red as I think it works well the the black racing stripe that someone has applied in the past.
Would be interested to hear from any body wanting to sell some rot free doors.
