Just a quick note to comment on the show I attended yesterday, at the old WW1 airfield at Stow Maries in Essex [ close to Maldon ].
Hosted by Region 11 [ Essex] of Porsche Club, to celebrate the 50 years of the club.
I took my 914 and was asked to participate ,by the organisers, in the Concours competion for up to '75 cars. Three others in the class were really good 356's.
My car isn't a concours car at all but they wanted the marque represented so I was happy to oblige.
Well - I won the class !!!! .
Pictures to follow - but venue is interesting and although still in it's infancy as a tourist attraction, might be worth a visit if you're in the area.
