Hi Dave

I will def need one as well. I was toying with the idea of getting a local trimmer to make the carpets as I could see the carpet close up before he fitted but Pelican do a carpet set. This I'm sure would be easier. No idea what the quality is like

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/sho ... at_pg1.htm

Prices look ok but the different options of german perlon / domestic cut pile is a bit confusing..

Roger Bray have one also

http://www.rogerbrayrestoration.com/carpet4.html

Silver knit / domestic / velor - again not sure of the difference as there are no pics.

Id be interested to see what other folk have done for carpets

Cheers
Andrew

I need a set as well!

I think Tom bought a set from Newton Commercial at Stanford Hall one year but cant see any on their website.

I was thinking using an upholsterer that I know as have saved all the old carpets from my 914.

914 Carpets

I've just ordered a full set from a company called ''914 Appearance and Performance'' [ US ] .

Price including P/P was 225 dollars.

http://914ap.com/products.php

As yet can't comment on quality etc. - will post a response when they arrive.

Regards

Tom bought his carpet set from "Spirit of the 50's"

http://www.spiritofthe50s.co.uk/carpets.htm

I have bought a set from them in the past, cheap, includes front and rear boot carpets as well.
They did use the wrong materiel for the boot carpets, should have been felt, not carpet.
I'm sure if you talk to them, they can make the set in different materials, and ask for sample materials so you know what you are getting.

They have all the 914 carpet patterns, early cars (70-72) have a longer passenger floor carpet, (73-76) use a shorter square corner carpet, because there is a foam block under the upper carpet piece.

You took the words out of my mouth I was going to give them a bell. Let me know how you get on.
