Sounds really good - am looking for something similar at the moment for my girlfriend to use for work but am aiming to transplant a p200 engine. I think yours is too original for that. Your car looks a bit trick in the background - are there pics of it on DDK?

Nice bunch of toys !
Love the LD - so slow though - my mate had to tell his mrs to get off and walk up a hill on the IOW rally!! (She's a slim girl as well)
Although my in laws did used to ride 2 up one on from here to Switzerland way back when.

Yeah too slow really. My mate said it was like riding a dustbin. Gearing is really strange as well, thrash it in second then into third burrrrrrr.....loses any momentum you may have made. Li has a new SIL GP200 engine and GS has a P200E. I would have like to kept a standard engine in the Vespa but it was missing when I bought it. Would love your GS but already have ran out of room (and funds and time and....) You'll regret selling that.

If all goes well with the Kart and the race car the plan is to do my TV 175 Series 3 rust-free Italian this winter. Running out of space to keep the finished article though!
Bought it for a lot of £££ 10 years ago, but appreciating fast, so worth doing.
I imagine a full restoration will be more than the market value?
