You've seen it before Dougie - our cars were stable mates at Gmund some years ago! Yours is very much different now, whereas mine is now all steel, different colour graphics and a fresh 911/83 engine courtesy of Bob Watson
Should be up in the Lakes in August to meet up with Mike Blow, might then venture up into Bonnie Scotland for a day or two...

Great run out this afternoon, Mike B's engine sounds great, and pulls like a train. Engine that I had in car previously put out about 230 bhp, but Mikes engine feels a lot stronger, with more torque as well.

   - six and a bit years since my last post. Engine is now installed in the rep,and is running scareilly well.
A completely different driving experience to the previous two engines fitted in the car.
A big thanks to Mike Bainbridge for his patience, perseverance and knowledge in getting the project to where it is now.
Mike has more or less taken engine apart and sorted out all problems from previous rebuild, and put it back together as it should be.
It was taken down to Neil Bainbridges, and run up on his Dyno, managing a respectable 265bhp.
The way Neil set it up makes it fairly bearable to drive at lower speeds, but when the revs rise, well I'll just say,it does move on a bit
Also, a big thanks to Jonny Hart for supplying his excellent modern technology ignition set up,but with equally excellent retro look.
