What a film that is!
Fab footage, remarkably detailed too.
They sounded good in '72!

Here’s another one, this time the 71 1000 Km, great quality film again, this time all race coverage with German commentary.

908-3 close close racing at Monterey

Some stirring stuff on this long video published in 2015.
Quick car that 908, but many just as quick!

Great video Neil!
Those 911's are realy quick and very smooth driving. The 914-6 pilot keeps stabbing at the throttle...

I'll take the 906 though.
Wonder if the Lola would sound like that 'open'?

MikeB wrote:Found this in YT, a great 20 mins of non commentary film, just the occasional conversation and plenty of engine noise, shot at the 1972 Nurburgring 1000 Kms. The Toad Hall ST appears along with other 911s and a 908/3. Lots of pre race paddock shots, so plenty of details to see.

Brilliant! I’m constantly looking for anything from the ‘72 season - European GT Championship & World Championship of Makes and this is a great find! Thanks!
