DOWN TIME OVER THE WEEKEND - please read

Post by Bootsy »

Apologies for the lack of forum over the weekend.

This is an important note.

We have had to restore our databases from Friday morning.

This means that there will be a few posts etc missing.

Sorry about that but a couple of databases got damaged and couldn't be repaired and we had no choice but to revert to a back up.

It's been a bit of pain over the weekend trying to sort this but hopefully all is well with the world now!

Thanks

Wish I did! I spent most of the time drowning in databases and servers!

Thanks for getting it sorted. My message seemed to concern my computer and went through a lot on google till I sort of realised it could be your end especially as I could open other sites okay.

The jargon that shows the php bb: critical error and the debug mode info is confusing to say the least. Why the message does not say that it is a possible problem with the site you have connected to seems odd to me.

They sort of expect us all to be computer wizards. Well you are obviously are one :) :)

The front end of the site (www.ddk-online.com) was available as was the shop but the forum software was unable to connect to two very important databases as they has corrupted.

The 'Critical Error' message is a bit alarming!

If you ever see something similar again be assured that it's our end and that I'll be on the case.

Thanks
