For those of you that have promised yourselves to one day go racing my 1969 911T race car is for sale. Having built historic race 911s for other people for many years I decided to build one for myself. Built to contest the HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship for pre 1970 sports cars this is a solid 1969 911T coupe,LHD ex USA car. Mechanically completely rebuilt using the best componants the car proved 100% reliable and very forgiving for a novice in his first full season, finishing second in class and fifth overall in the championship.
The engine built by Paul Nash Racing produces more power and torque than a 73 Carrera RS. Dyno checked at the end of the season was as healthy as at the beginning. Matched to a close ratio box it is a really great drive.
The car is on the button and ready to go just needs the seat moved for the new driver. Also eligable for many other classic events and series, very reluctant sale due to another race car at a fraction of the build cost £37500.00 Absolutely any inspection welcome,

I have been asked about the spec of the car so here goes, still probably best to call and dicsuss.
Engine; Is a 68 mag case that was fitted to a factory T/H that I had this had been shuffle pinned and flowed with oil bypass mod and big oil pump.Knife-edged balanced crank with Pauter ultra light rods.1mm bored biral barrels with JE pistons. Ported heads with factory forged rockers ,Schrick springs and GE 80 cams.Tall PMO manifolds with modified Weber 40 IDS carbs.Factory style headers with modified twin outlet rear box. Produces 221 bhp 174 ft lb torque
Gearbox; Mag cased with close grouped gears matched to torque curve,NO LSD as this is not allowed in HSCC series.
Suspension: All pivot points are from Elephant Racing, others are Superpro. New factory anti-roll bars, rear torsion bars are Porsche motorsport items.Dampers are Bilstein Race. All new bearings etc.
Brakes; Vented discs with SC front and rear calipers ,big master cylinder braided hoses Pagid blue pads
85 litre fuel tank with oversize filler, 3.2 carrera oil cooler system to front wing.
The car is taxed and MOT'd and can be driven on the road.Hope this helps but for serious enquiries best to call me on 01483 280736
