Back from a VW show at the weekend with some silver ware

Street show and shine .....runner up

Modified air cooled .....runner up

Just a pity some of the shows are down south.

Congrats Rich it looks supurb ! thats how I come to build mine too! purchased a chassis on May 31st 2009 & got married in it on May 31st 2010 .

yeh, I like it like this as well :)

The wife wants it painted though.......

I've got all the badges and trim pre fitted now and it looks even better..I have an ok price for interior retrim and doubleduck hood, and I'm currently stripping it for paint..... sooooooo maybe out next spring??

Car came with a vinyl hood in tan, I didn't like it on and I managed to split a seam....only an inch but I wanted a black hood anyways.........i'll stick it up on eBay. (Also have a pair of glass seats/runners/foam if anyone needs 'em)

I've got a set of skinny wide 5 steels. i'm gonna blast 'em and fit with 135 skinny 2cv tyres....just for a change :)
