Hi My bodyshop is in Rugeley but be quick as ive just sold it!!!! Albeit to a friend so can still get discount work done! :wink:

mine is currently being sanded and they are hoping to get primer on her TODAY - I know its a shock....have a brew and sit down for a bit...!

The dining rooms done, she's on about the hall stairs and landing next we've got wallpaper samples up now :cry:

A bit of paint at last! Looks totally different now its been primed.

All filling has now been completed so the bonnet and doors will be painted, flattened back before the final top coats are applied.

R u not putting any badges on ? if not that is ok ,if u r I would fit them before spray .Ive saw that many speedsters that have tryed to fit the little fiddlle bits after spray & f**ked it up by drilling or measuring incorrect

the hole is for the fuel filler cap to meet poxy iva rules!

I've got an aero cap for the test but will put a nice monza cap on post test. Different spin.

Always nice to get the car into one colour!!
Should give the bodyshop a kick to get it finished now just keep on their case now your onto the home straight!!

I can barely contain myself - one door and a bumper has paint on it, in the final colour. Looks AWESOME and finally seeing the fruit of these delays. 100% happy with the colour.

To be fair I could never have got the bodywork as good as it is now. T'other bumper, door, bonnet and bootlid being finished this weekend and the car will receive paint next week - its prepped all ready for application.

Have taken chocolates to the garage as a) a peace offering for my constant rants and b) a sugar overload to get them working twice as hard to finish it.
