And he made me buy that hat at CLM so I could look just like him. But with a rubbisher beard. In fact tbh he inspired me to grow that too.

It's made the final (for now) part of it's journey today as was trailed from work workshop back to the home one, and pushed into place.

Let's hope it successfully drives back out. Will give it a thread when I know what's going on.

Have to say, having thought it looked enormous, in my (tiny) home workshop it looks fine, not too big at all. In fact, it looks rather marvellous 8) .

Such a great thread, and such a shame to lose all the pics. Thanks a lot, Photobucket...

....a sad, sad moment.....this was the thread that got me hooked on DDK and I've been back countless times since.

Sadly my threads, along with many more I suspect, will also be going the same way.......lets hope others in the future can reach the heights of johnM and keep us all inspired!

Will see if I can resurrect the photos.

It's a real shame that Photobucket has decided to go down this route. I suspect they will quickly go out of business. The "bar stewards"

Yes they are. It's such a huge disappointment.... and loss. I'm going to see if I can resurrect mine too, but it's going to be a monster job....

Makes me wonder if any enterprising code monkey (sorry, young software engineer) has found a way of scripting it... would not be beyond the wit of man to scrape the phpbb thread for img tags, find the same-named image in the new hosting location, and generate a list of new tags. Editing each post would probably still be a manual ballsache though, sadly, unless said script was used by an admin to modify the underlying database...

Not promising anything, but I'm going to look into it.
We can't have all these amazing resto stories ruined forever.

Have you managed to get that extension working?
