2 x rare Porsche Fuchs 7Rs

Post by RockStock »

I have a pair of early original Porsche Fuchs 7Rs with Hearts - the rare cool 7" rim produced by Porsche as a wider racing rim

>In decent straight original (anodised) condition
>Both have what I would describe as light scuffing - no really bad kerbing
>Ink-stamped with the part number (901.361.012.05), as they were (the stamp on one wheel is very light)
>One wheel is date stamped 1968, the other 1969
>Both have the Heart valve stem area
>No welding repairs
>No visible cracks
>Run as is, or refurbish

Great 7R info here

Am I barking up the wrong tree or do you also have a predilection for early Ghias?

Just a word of warning for anyone thinking of doing business with this guy - Chris Carr.

I agreed to buy the wheels several weeks ago, paying a £400 deposit by bank transfer to secure them.

Phoned, left messages, texts and emails only to receive little or no response for three weeks until he mysteriously decides that they are not for sale after all. The fact that I'd paid a deposit and had been trying to arrange a time to collect didn't seem to bother him!

In the end I had to chase for almost four weeks until I got my money back.

Dishonest and time wasting behaviour - avoid this guy!

Oh dear

Perhaps he needed a short term loan.
I hate being pi**ed about.

Don't think so, the seller is in a different town and the wheels certainly look different.
