Looks like Alan's doing great up against all that modern machinery. Live results are below of this weekends rally. Looks like he picked up a 1min road penalty though caused by early into Time Control 3, bummer.
Superb time on SS2

Thanks for the interest and support !
Was an interesting and good event ...... there were three "historic" (read old) Porsches out , so we quickly formed a team (total of 7 teams entered) ..... and managed to win ! (suspect it wasn't speed , but reliability that won us that award ??)
Very quick in places - much faster than usual for me - not because of car or driver .... but due to lack of (reduced number of) artifical chicanes compared to International event in the summer time .
Longest stage was 13.02 miles (SS 5 and SS 12) - we were pleased with a time of 13mins , 1.6 secs first time over .... (almost exactly 60mph) . Second run through and we were "battling" with trying to be quicker than the 2 litre Historic 911 that was out (Rikki Proffit) , .... were feeling chuffed with being about 42 secs quicker than him (12 mins 11.2 secs for us that time - and just over 64 mph ave) , until we found out Adrian Kermode's time in the "big" 911 ......... 11 mins 25.4 secs .... gulp ......"there's always a bigger fish !!"
Have got car washed and checked over today - nothing to do really before Donegal Rally in June ..... let's hope the weather is as good then as it was this weekend !
