Who in the UK will do the conversion and how much will it cost, roll in roll out?? Brakes and suspension are up to spec, price to remove, re-plumb and fit the six..

you would want to do some serious mods to brakes, suspension if you are going to fit a 3.6litre. Worth speaking to Paul Herbert (his yellow race 914-6 was fitted with a 3.6)

big job to do properly and not necessarily straight forward

I'm in the process of putting a 3.6 993 motor in my SC.

There's a few of us on impactbumpers getting into 3.6 conversions.

I had wondered about doing it in a 914, will be one crazy car!

Not sure who would do it in the UK, its quite involved, you'd have to find someone that's done it before or prepared to do the background reading.
It was like that when I got here.

914's are the best host for a 3.6 implants IMHO :)
You will need to swap to a 915 box and upgrade everything else.

If your not capable of carrying out the conversion yourself, 9M have probably the best UK experience of doing 911, 3.6 conversions.

carrera performance - in horsham

plenty of 3.6 transplant experience, plenty of knowledge regarding the pitfalls and related upgrades required for such conversions - plus a fully equipped Porsche workshop.
