Post by Nick Moss »

Very nice looking restoration for £186K. I haven't got my book handy, is that Jade Green?

Up for sale here, too (£233k!):

And photos from original site here:

I think Mike (210BHP) discussed it in another link somewhere? I'll try & find it....

Light Green = Jade Green? Think so.

I thought I had seen the car mentioned somewhere, but it wasn't in marketplace discussions was it? If you click on the pics in the advert, then click again they come up very high res if you want to check out the paint code: 227 which is Jade Green

Nope, it was all within the Essen thread. An interesting £47k price disparity, eh?

Looks a peach though (if you like highly restored cars, of course   )

Yes Jade green equals light green in the RS colours.

Was this car not for sale in France about two / three years ago, pre-restoration? In a bit of a sorry state and sold for reasonable money. Can't remember where I saw it offered.

Nick, you may have been thinking of this recent post http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... highlight=

You'll have to scroll down for the pic... and as Mike says, if that's the original colour, the car pictured in the resto thread is Mark Waring's old car ROO 4, and the only Jade Green car I've seen in the metal. Nice colour.

Thanks for the offer Nigel but it was just a general enquiry really. I have visions of one day being in a position to prise that beaut away from its, no doubt, very long term owner by means of casual stealth and annoying persistence.

Not quite in that position yet though :(

Will I ever :?: :?

Now there's a happy coincidence! Chance encounter or planned? Either way, it does look nice. 8)
